A ladder to the soul: developing artistic frameworks

Art serves as an avenue to captivate the soul. The role of the artist is to harness this through deeply personal expression and reflection. The resonance of performing, visual, and literary arts within individuals and communities is where the potential unfolds for building a unified process for reflection, action, and consultation across all art forms. In 2020, FRMWRK was launched as a global collaborative of artists that create, perform, and design art inspired by the animating principles of the Bahá’í Faith. In this workshop, FRMWRK will share reflections from its efforts to support artists in defining a path of service within its activities and artistic campaigns as well as building inclusive virtual spaces for networking, mentorship, and capacity-building for social action in the arts.
